Eighth, the northwestern direction, the bodhisattva. His earlier name was Inexhaustible Light Mani King; here it says 'Wisdom of Majestic Virtue', which is precisely the Mani King, differing only as Dharma and metaphor. His ten verses praise the Buddha's virtue of appearing and expounding the Dharma, both being universally pervasive, answering the question on fearlessness (vaiśāradya), because his expounding of the Dharma has no divergence. Therein, it is divided into three parts: the first two generally reveal the body's light universally responding; the next seven discern what is done; the final one concludes function and traces it back to the source. Within discerning what is done, it is divided into two: the first three explain the illumination of light without remainder; the subsequent four explain the expounding of the Dharma as universally pervasive: 1. Pervading the lands of the dharmadhātu inside and outside the dust motes; 2. Pervading all lands within the Buddha's body; 3. Explaining the nature and marks that are turned; 4. Explaining the perfect voice that is capable of turning. The final verse concludes function and traces it back to the source, because it is unapprehendable.
