四釋文。一品分三：初總明本事之時；二「有世界」下，別顯本事之處；三「彼勝音世界最初劫中」下，別顯時中本事。今初，即二佛剎塵數劫也。

Fourth, explaining the text. The chapter is divided into three: first, generally explaining the time of the original events; second, from "There was a world..." onward, separately revealing the place of the original events; third, from "In the very first kalpa of that world Pravaraśabda..." onward, separately revealing the original events during that time. First is the kalpas numbering as many as the paramāṇus of two Buddha-kṣetras.
