三宗趣者，亦先通、後別。通復二義：一通分宗、二通會宗，並如會初。二別明此品，有其二義：一望當品，以十甚深為宗，依成觀解為趣。二望後二品，則以甚深觀解為宗，成後行德為趣。

Third, regarding the central theme and orientation: this also has general first, and specific after. The general again has two meanings: 1. the general theme of the section; 2. the general theme of the assembly, both being as [explained at] the beginning of the assembly. Second, specifically clarifying this chapter has two meanings: 1. looking to this chapter itself, it takes the ten profundities as the central theme and relying on them to accomplish contemplative understanding as the orientation; 2. looking to the subsequent two chapters, it takes the profound contemplative understanding as the central theme and accomplishing the subsequent virtues of practice as the orientation.
