19.22

初來意者，謂前二品明位及行，今顯勝德，舉初況後巧顯深勝，故次來也。又前品末云初發心時便成正覺，未知此心有何功用頓得爾耶？今釋此義，故次來也。

First, the reason for this coming next: the preceding two chapters clarified stations and practice; now this reveals surpassing virtues, citing the beginning to illustrate the end, skillfully revealing profundity and excellence, therefore it follows next. Furthermore, the end of the preceding chapter stated that at the time of first generating the mind one immediately accomplishes sambodhi; not knowing what function this mind has to attain this so suddenly, it now explains this meaning, and therefore it follows next.
