第七知方便者，即禪善巧及至處、道智方便三種，如向所辨，所望別故無相濫失。
Seventh, knowing expedient means refers to the three kinds: skillfulness in dhyāna, [knowledge of] paths leading everywhere, and the expedient means of path wisdom. As distinguished above, because what they refer to is distinct, there is no error of mutual conflation.
