19.39

第四釋中亦先反、後順。順中，初總、後「所謂」下別。別有六門，各先惑、後治，謂非但空知，意在斷故。初門總明，後一義兼總別，中間四門別舉其重。

In the fourth [part], the explanation, there is also first the contrary and then the direct. In the direct [explanation], first is the general, and then from "that is to say" on is the specific. There are six specific gates, each treating the affliction first and the antidote second, meaning that it is not merely knowing them in vain, but the intention is to sever them. The first gate clarifies in general; the final one embraces both general and specific in meaning; and the four intermediate gates specifically raise the gravest ones.
