初來意者，當會序分已彰，正宗宜顯故。又已總示所依佛智，次別顯能依行位，故次來也。

First, regarding the purpose of its occurrence: since the introductory section of the present assembly has already been manifested, the main body of teaching should appropriately be revealed. Furthermore, having already generally indicated the Buddha's wisdom upon which they rely, it next specifically reveals the stages of practice that rely upon it; therefore, it follows next.
