30.46

第三二門迴向所為中，初一門應為眾生、後門應為菩提。今初，有二十三句。初之二句，文雖在初，義通二處。第三成就眾生，是為總句；下皆是別，始自信心終成種智，其文並顯。二應向菩提中，明因圓果滿大用無盡，亦顯可知。

In the third [group of] two gateways regarding the objectives of dedication, the first gateway is what should be done for sentient beings; the latter gateway is what should be done for bodhi. Now, in the first, there are twenty-three phrases. Although the first two phrases appear at the beginning of the text, their meaning applies to both places. The third, 'bringing sentient beings to accomplishment', is the comprehensive phrase; those below are all specific, beginning with the faithful mind and culminating in the realization of the wisdom of all modes (sarvākārajñatā), and the text is entirely clear throughout. In the second, on dedicating toward bodhi, it explains that the causes are completed, the fruits are perfected, and the great function is inexhaustible; this too is clear and can be understood.
