Third, in listing the names: the first thirty-eight share the name "Garbha" (Treasury) to signify that in the phenomena of the stages there is the harboring of all virtues and the production of fruits and functions. The last one is named Vimukticandra (Liberation Moon), who is the chief of those requesting the Dharma, dispelling the darkness of the assembly's doubts and bringing them coolness, like the night moon. Furthermore, "Treasury" signifies that fundamental wisdom contains and produces, while "Moon" signifies that subsequently attained wisdom brings coolness to benefit beings. *Sūrya* means moon here. *Kusuma* means pleasing to the mind, which is the name of a flower. The other distinct names may be interpreted according to their meanings.
