34.15

第三「佛子」下總結十願，不異前標。第四「以此」下明攝眷屬。若觀經文，似此十之類有於百萬等。依論釋云：此十大願，一一願中有百千萬阿僧祇大願以為眷屬，則此十願攝無不盡。如成正覺願，則攝藥師十二上願；如淨土願，則攝彌陀四十八願等。故此經他經所有諸願，不出此十。非唯攝願，亦攝一切菩提分法，如第七地辨。上明十願彰自勤行竟。

Third, from "O sons of the Buddha..." onward concludes the ten vows in general, not differing from the initial indications. Fourth, from "Through this..." onward clarifies the inclusion of retinue. If one examines the text of the sūtra, it seems there are a million of the kind of these ten and so on. Relying on the treatise's explanation: within each and every one of these ten great vows, there are hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of asaṃkhyeyas of great vows serving as their retinue, so that these ten vows subsume everything without remainder. As the vow to realize sambodhi subsumes the twelve supreme vows of Bhaiṣajyaguru, and the pure land vow subsumes the forty-eight vows of Amitābha, and so forth. Therefore, all the vows in this sūtra and other sūtras do not go beyond these ten. Not only do they subsume vows, they also subsume all the bodhipakṣa-dharmas, as analyzed in the seventh stage. The above clarification of the ten vows displaying one's own diligent practice is concluded.
