次正釋文。文分三分：初讚請分、二正說分、三重頌分。今初，五頌分二：初三慶聞初地、後二請說二地。今初、前二經家敘其三業慶喜、後一發言申讚。然此慶聞亦屬前地，以領前請後故，皆判屬後。後二中亦初序、後請。

Next is the direct explanation of the text. The text is divided into three sections: first, the section of praise and request; second, the section of the direct teaching; third, the section of the reiterative verses (geya). As for the first, the five verses are divided into two: the first three celebrate hearing [the teaching of] the first ground; the latter two request the explanation of the second ground. In the first part, the first two [verses] contain the sūtra compiler's narrative of the celebration and joy of their three karmas; the last one gives voice to praise. However, this rejoicing at hearing [the teaching] also pertains to the preceding ground; yet because it receives what came before and requests what follows, it is entirely judged as belonging to the latter. In the latter two [verses], the first is also the narrative, and the second is the request.
