第五例三稠林，謂解、性、欲。此三與根性相順入，舉一可反三隅，故皆略例。

Fifth, drawing analogies to the three thickets, namely understanding, nature, and desire. These three correspond to and accord with the nature of the faculties, and by raising one corner, the other three can be inferred; hence, they are all briefly treated by analogy.
