大文第二「爾時普眼」下請分，中四：一普眼請問，要以普眼方見普法故；二「佛言」下如來許問；三「普眼」下舉法正問；四「佛言善哉」下歎問利益。

The second major section, from "At that time Universal Eye" downward, is the section on requesting, which has four [parts]: 1. Universal Eye presents a request, because one must possess universal eyes to see the universal Dharma; 2. from "The Buddha said" downward, the Tathāgata grants the request; 3. from "Universal Eye" downward, raising the Dharma to present the formal inquiry; 4. from "The Buddha said: 'Excellent!'" downward, praising the benefits of the inquiry.
