48.35

大文第二「爾時佛」下證成，中二：一現瑞證。於中，先此界、後「如此」下結通。二「爾時至十方」下諸菩薩證，亦先此土、後「如此」下結通。言授記深法者，少用功力疾得菩提故。同名普賢者，皆有此行故。普勝界者，依此普法最為勝故。普幢自在者，此行成果高出無礙故。

Second, the major division from "At that time the Buddha..." onward, verification. Within this, there are two: first, verification through the manifestation of auspicious signs. Therein, first [in] this world, and then from "In like manner..." onward, a concluding generalization. Second, from "At that time... throughout the ten directions..." onward, verification by the bodhisattvas, likewise first [in] this land, and then from "In like manner..." onward, a concluding generalization. Regarding the "deep Dharma of the bestowal of prophecy": it is because with little exertion of effort one swiftly attains bodhi. Regarding their "all sharing the name Samantabhadra": it is because they all possess these practices. Regarding the "Universally Superior Realm": it is because relying upon this universal Dharma is most superior. Regarding "Universal Banner of Sovereign Mastery": it is because the fruition resulting from this practice surpasses all else and is unobstructed.
