第二偈頌，即屬第十見聞之益。不頌顯名受持，顯名受持後文自頌。此頌應在揀法異喻之前，以前長行鉤鎖顯名亦是見聞益故。若迴此偈於現瑞後，與後偈相續，文理甚順。四偈分二：初一頌法說、後三如次頌前三喻。

Second, the verse section belongs precisely to the tenth [point], the benefit of seeing and hearing. It does not versify revealing the titles and receiving and upholding; revealing the titles and receiving and upholding will be versified by itself in the subsequent text. These verses should precede distinguishing the doctrine from the similes, because previously the prose interlocking linked revealing the titles as also being the benefit of seeing and hearing. If one places these verses after the manifestation of auspicious signs, continuous with the subsequent verses, the text and principle flow very smoothly. The four stanzas are divided into two parts: the first one versifies the doctrinal exposition, and the latter three versify the preceding three similes respectively.
