54.12

次正釋文。一品大分為二：初明本會、二「爾時文殊師利從善住樓閣出」下明末會。亦前明果法界、後明因法界。又前頓入法界，後明漸入法界。又前總，後別，總別圓融，本末無礙。又前即亡修頓證，是正宗之極；後是寄人修入，以辨流通，通正圓融，中後無礙。就本會中，長科十分：一序分、二請分、三三昧現相分、四遠集新眾分、五舉失顯得分、六偈頌讚德分、七普賢開發分、八毫光示益分、九文殊述德分、十無涯大用分。

Next, correctly explaining the text. Broadly speaking, the chapter is divided into two: first, clarifying the fundamental assembly; second, from 'At that time, Mañjuśrī came out from the Good Abode Pavilion' onward, clarifying the final assembly. Also, the former clarifies the dharmadhātu of fruition, and the latter clarifies the dharmadhātu of cause. Furthermore, the former is sudden entry into the dharmadhātu, and the latter clarifies gradual entry into the dharmadhātu. Furthermore, the former is general and the latter specific; general and specific perfectly interpenetrate, and the root and branch are unobstructed. Furthermore, the former is the forgetting of cultivation in sudden realization, which is the culmination of the main section; the latter is relying on a person to cultivate and enter so as to distinguish the dissemination section; dissemination and main sections perfectly interpenetrate, and the middle and later are unobstructed. Within the fundamental assembly, it is broadly partitioned into ten sections: 1. introductory section; 2. request section; 3. section on manifesting marks in samādhi; 4. section on the new assembly gathering from afar; 5. section on pointing out the loss to reveal the gain; 6. section on praising virtues in verse; 7. section on Samantabhadra's initiation; 8. section on showing benefit through the hair-mark light; 9. section on Mañjuśrī's recounting of virtues; 10. section on the boundless great function.
