54.3

初來意者，先辨分來。夫行因證立，證藉行深，前分託法行成故；此依人入證，亦為遠答解脫海故。會品於意，不異分來，無別會品故。

Regarding the initial rationale for its appearance: first, analyzing the origin of this section. Now, practice is established based on realization, and realization relies upon the depth of practice; in the preceding section, practice was accomplished by relying on the Dharma. Here, entering realization relies on persons; it is also to provide a distant response to the Sea of Liberations. Associating the chapter with its intention is no different from the section's origin, as there is no separate assembly or chapter.
