第三謙己推勝中，初謙己知一；後「如諸」下推勝，中二：先舉彼所知、後「而我」下顯不能測。

Third, in the [section on] humbling oneself and deferring to the superior, first he humbles himself as knowing only one [teaching]; next, from "As all [bodhisattvas]" onward, he defers to the superior. Within this are two parts: first, he adduces what they know; next, from "while I..." onward, he shows that he cannot fathom [it].
