第八毘目仙人，寄童真住。六段：初依教趣求中，初念前友教，有十二句，前二總明順前解行、後十依前增進勝心，前四約福、後六約智。

Eighth, the ṛṣi Vimukta, corresponding to the Kumārabhūta Abode. There are six sections: First, in pursuing the quest in accordance with instruction, first recollecting the previous spiritual friend's instruction, which has twelve phrases: the first two generally clarify according with the previous understanding and practice; the latter ten rely on the previous [instruction] to increase the superior aspiration—the first four are in terms of merit, the latter six in terms of wisdom.
