第九勝熱善友，寄王子住，義如前釋。文亦有六：一依教趣入，中二：初證前、後趣後。前中二：初顯證所因、後「住諸佛」下正明證益。於中二：先得自分益、後「求一切智」下得勝進益及於趣後，文並可知。

Ninth, the good friend Jayoṣmīya corresponds to the Station of the Crown Prince; the meaning is as explained previously. The text also has six parts: First, proceeding in accordance with the teaching, which has two parts: first, realizing the preceding, and second, proceeding to the subsequent. Within the first, there are two parts: first, revealing the basis of the realization, and second, from "Abiding in all Buddhas..." onward, directly clarifying the benefit of the realization. In this, there are two: first, obtaining the benefit of one's own stage, and second, from "Seeking all-knowledge..." onward, obtaining the benefit of superior progress and proceeding to the subsequent; the text of both can be understood.
