第二「城東有山」下見敬諮問。見中，中夜見者，智入生死故，善財將入此位故。上云日沒入城。於山頂者，表位極故。光明照者，以智慧光破於生死及二邊闇故。

Second, from 'East of the city there was a mountain' onward, is seeing, paying homage, and inquiring. Within the seeing, seeing him at midnight is because wisdom enters birth-and-death, and Sudhana is about to enter this station. Above, it said that at sunset he entered the city. Being on the mountain peak symbolizes that the station is supreme. Emitting light and illuminating is because the light of wisdom destroys the darkness of birth-and-death and the two extremes.
