58.30

第四「我唯知」下謙己推勝中，先顯己知一，略顯四種業用。若約妙音釋，則不綺、不離間、不妄、不惡口，如次配之。若約甚深釋者，不與理合皆名戲論，理外發言即是二語。既與理乖，則非真非淨。反此可知。後「如諸」下推勝知多。

Fourth, from 'I only know' onwards, in humbling herself and deferring to the superior: she first shows that she only knows one, briefly revealing four kinds of karmic functions. If explained in terms of wondrous sound, then they are: not frivolous speech, not divisive speech, not false speech, and not harsh speech, matching them in sequence. If explained in terms of the profound: all that does not accord with noumenon is called frivolous discourse; words spoken outside of noumenon are dual speech. Since they conflict with noumenon, they are neither true nor pure. The converse may be known. Afterwards, from 'Like the...' onwards, she defers to the superior who know much.
