第二「作是念時」下明見敬諮問。於中二：初見友依正。於空見者，城表教道，空表證道，宗說兼通，如日處空故。服朱衣者，證智明顯故。法門星像不離一身，如體化生作用不離一毛之性。二「善財童子見聞」下設敬諮問。

Second, from "while he was making this thought" downward, explains seeing, paying homage, and inquiring. In this there are two parts: first, seeing the friend's dependent and proper [rewards]. Seeing her in space: the city symbolizes the path of teaching, and space symbolizes the path of realization; penetrating both the principle and the expounding, like the sun dwelling in space. Wearing vermilion robes: the wisdom of realization is distinct and bright. The constellations of the Dharma gates do not depart from a single body, just as the functioning of emanations from the essence does not depart from the nature of a single pore. Second, from "the youth Sudhana, having seen and heard" downward, is offering homage and inquiring.
