6.28

第三明三禪長行十法。第一門即寂普現名為方便。說即是道，由說入佛解脫海故。此於體用有礙得解脫也。又方便言，亦通入解脫之方便也。

Third, explaining the ten dharmas of the prose section for the third dhyāna [heavens]. In the first approach, being tranquil yet universally manifesting is called "skillful means." The expounding itself is the path, because through expounding one enters the Buddha's ocean of liberation. This attains liberation from the obstacle of having obstruction between essence and function. Furthermore, the word "skillful means" also applies to the skillful means for entering liberation.
