Second, from "as well as this [land]" onward, in the layered pervasion there are briefly four layers: 1) exhausting the dust motes of the dharmadhātu. Saying "as well as this land" points to the lands of the previous ten places; 2) many lands within a dust mote; 3) many Buddhas within a land; 4) before each and every Buddha, there are many Samantabhadras. In all the above places they enter this samādhi, so Samantabhadra's body does not differentiate between coarse and fine in its universal pervasion, being deep, vast, levelly full, and layered. Since entering samādhi here is analogously extended in this way, entering samādhi across the dharmadhātu is also analogously extended likewise. Therefore, in terms of the primary samādhi, before the Buddha there is only one Samantabhadra, because all are one. But in terms of analogous extension, before the Buddha there are each as many as the dust motes, because one is all.
