Third, from "It should be known" downward, "being equal to the Buddhas" is because seeing the nature is uniform; the initial generation of the mind and the ultimate [fruit] are not different. The text has four clauses: the first is general, the rest are specific. Generally stating "equal to the Buddhas", what is equal? There are three kinds of equality: 1. the objective realm of cognitive conditions and the objective realm of scope are equal; 2. great compassion, great absorption, powers, fearlessnesses, and so forth are all entirely equal; 3. knowing that the body has no origin and no accumulation, yet according with beings' discriminations, various bodies are seen—such wisdom is equal to the Buddhas'.
