Forty-one: Entering fire to seek the Dharma. In the practice of giving, the mention of "seven rèn" means one rèn is seven chǐ. In the practice of pariṇāmanā, the first and ninth take seeking the Dharma as the vow; the remainder take entering fire as the vow.
