Tenth is the essence of brilliant manifestation in the oceanic reflection [samādhi]: the distinct and inexhaustible teachings explained above all manifest brilliantly and simultaneously within the Tathāgata's oceanic reflection samādhi. Even the capacities of those to be transformed brilliantly manifest in this samādhi in accordance with pratītyasamutpāda. Therefore, samādhi alone is taken as the teaching-essence. As analyzed in the "Chapter on the Manifestation", this is said with respect to the stage of the fruition. If said with respect to the stage of the cause, perfect faith can also attain this reflected manifestation. The "Chapter on the Chief of the Virtuous (Bhadraśrī)" says: "All such things can be manifested / By the supernatural power of the oceanic reflection samādhi." The above ten gates encompass and subsume [everything]; there has never been a single phenomenon that is not the teaching-essence. However, the last two gates are precisely the overarching tenet of this sūtra, which blends and integrates the prior eight without leaving anything out.
