The tenth major section, the last two verses, weighs and measures the merit. Since the virtue is limitless, it should indeed be cultivated. However, as for this manifestation of virtue being profound, superior, high, and far-reaching: first, it is due to the teaching of perfect interpenetration; second, it is based on the power of extraordinary vows. Ascending to the stages and above relies on the gradations of stations, so it always concludes: "If based on the power of extraordinary vows, it surpasses even this, being countless and unknowable; do not think that because this is profound, the stages are inferior." The fifth assembly is concluded.
