Within the verses there are also two: the first verse versifies the preceding section—purity makes clear that there is faith, and the remainder indicates that there is realization; 'like a mountain and like an ocean' doubly metaphors teaching and realization. The second verse versifies the subsequent section—because of grasping at marks, they merely rely on consciousness and cannot rely on wisdom.
