Part four of the main text, from "abiding like a jewel" downward, comprises twenty-nine sections that answer twenty-nine queries regarding practice on the stations of pariṇāmanā. If combined with the general phrase on unobstructedness, there are thirty sections. Ancient masters divided them into three: the first eleven sections clarify the firmness of the essence of practice on the stations of pariṇāmanā; the twelve sections from "ten masteries" downward clarify the mastery of the function of practice; the seven sections from "ten kinds of sportive play" downward clarify the complete endowment with the virtues of practice. Here, following their order, they are also correlated with the ten pariṇāmanās. Within this, the first four sections explain the first pariṇāmanā; the second and third pariṇāmanās each have two sections; the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh each have only one section; the eighth pariṇāmanā consists of the ten unobstructednesses; the ninth has three sections; and the tenth has four sections, as will be understood when reaching the text.
