Seventh, explaining the text. However, because the tenets of this sūtra fuse and embrace different meanings, each single power fully contains the ten powers, and even encompasses the entire dharmadhātu. Thus, regarding past lives, it is stated that knowledge encompasses the three times; regarding the divine eye, it sees the entire dharmadhātu—not merely seeing it fully: the Buddha-eye is like space, which is itself the dharmadhātu, and not only does knowledge encompass it, but it can also manifest all at once within a pore; the power of karma contemplates the dharmatā, so how could it merely be conditioned phenomena? Considered from distinct approaches, other tenets are not destroyed.
