Third, in clarifying the classifications of the dharmadhātu, there are briefly three senses. First, in terms of the three dharmadhātus: the first line is the dharmadhātu of phenomena; the next line is the dharmadhātu of principle; the third line is the unimpeded dharmadhātu; the fourth line fuses and brushes away the previous three; and the fifth line concludes by assigning them to the above three dharmadhātus. Second, in terms of the four dharmadhātus: "Reverting and returning without limit" is phenomena. "Movement and quiescence sharing a single source" contains three meanings: movement is phenomena, quiescence is principle, and movement and quiescence sharing a single source is the dharmadhātu of the non-obstruction of principle and phenomena. "Containing the manifold marvels with plenty to spare" is the dharmadhātu of the non-obstruction of phenomenon and phenomenon. "Transcending speech and thought to stand out aloof" fuses and brushes away the four dharmadhātus. "Could it be anything other than the dharmadhātu?" also concludes by assigning them to the four dharmadhātus. Third, in terms of the five dharmadhātus: reverting and moving are both conditioned; quiescence is the unconditioned. "A single source" has two aspects: if mutual elimination and dual extinction are taken as the single source, it is the dharmadhātu of neither conditioned nor unconditioned; if mutual fusion and dual illumination are taken as the single source, it is the dharmadhātu of both conditioned and unconditioned. "Containing the manifold marvels with plenty to spare" is the unimpeded dharmadhātu. "Transcending speech and thought to stand out aloof" comprehensively fuses the five dharmadhātus. "Could it be anything other than the dharmadhātu?" concludes by assigning them to the five dharmadhātus.
