10.16

疏「故出現」下，二引證。此文釋通二義：一正是事事無礙義，以眾生及佛皆是事故。今取釋文皆同一性之義故，證事理無礙。由理遍事，故眾生隨理而在佛中。

Regarding the commentary's "Therefore, the 'Manifestation' [chapter states]..." onward, this is the second [part], adducing scriptural proof. This text explains and accommodates two meanings: First, it precisely indicates the meaning of the non-obstruction of phenomenon and phenomenon, because both sentient beings and buddhas are phenomena. Here, taking the text's explanation that they all share the identical single nature, it proves the non-obstruction of principle and phenomenon. Because principle pervades phenomena, sentient beings, following principle, reside within the Buddha.
