10.31

疏「又由理事相即故起滅同時」者，會四相前後一時別中一時之義。事全同理，故事即滅也。以事虛無體故。引偈，即善慧菩薩。

Regarding the Commentary's 'Furthermore, because principle and phenomena are mutually identical, arising and ceasing are simultaneous': it integrates the meaning of simultaneity within the distinction between the succession and simultaneity of the four characteristics. Phenomena are entirely identical with principle, so phenomena are immediately ceased, because phenomena are empty and devoid of essence. The verse cited is by the Bodhisattva of Excellent Wisdom (Subhadra).
