Regarding the commentary's "Pores and radiant lights are all capable of preaching the Dharma": that is, in the *Daśabhūmika-sūtra* above, light also preaches. Furthermore, the Ninth Ground states: "Sometimes the mind wishes to emit great radiant light to expound dharma-doors; sometimes the mind wishes to expound Dharma sounds from each and every pore on his body." Furthermore, the "Manifesting Marks" chapter states: "At that time, from within the light of the bodhisattvas, sounds were emitted simultaneously to recite this gāthā: 'From all the radiant lights, wondrous sounds emerge, / Pervading all lands in the ten directions, / Expounding all the merits of the Buddha's sons, / Able to enter the wondrous path of bodhi'" and so on. Furthermore, at the beginning of the "Dharmadhātu" chapter: "The incoming bodhisattvas, the bodhisattvas from below named King of Valiant Wisdom Banner Destroying All Obstacles, along with bodhisattvas as numerous as the fine dust particles in a sea of worlds, came to the Buddha's place, and from all their pores emerged sound-clouds preaching the ocean of languages of all sentient beings, and sound-clouds preaching the ocean of practice and upāya of all bodhisattvas of the three times" and so on. The texts are not singular.
