13.31

第六宗趣通別中，疏文分二：先釋名標章、後「前中」下依章別釋。前中，宗者崇也，故云「所尚」，亦云尊也、主也、多也。

Under the sixth, the general and specific aspects of the central theme and purport, the commentary text has two parts: first, explaining the name and marking the section; afterwards, from “In the former” down, it explains them specifically according to the section. In the former, “theme” (zong) means to revere (chong); therefore it says “that which is esteemed,” and it also means honored, primary, and abundant.
