18.103

疏「法身彌綸」者，標章。彌綸，即周遍包羅之義。「以法為身」等者，先明法性法身遍無來往；後「依法現色」下，約應化法身明無來往所以。用此釋者，由下以三身收之，以此屬化身故。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "The dharmakāya comprehensively encompasses": this marks the heading. "Comprehensively encompasses" means universally pervading and containing. Regarding "taking Dharma as the body" and so forth: it first clarifies that the dharmakāya of the nature of phenomena is pervasive, without coming or going; later, from "relying on the Dharma to manifest form" downward, it clarifies the reason for the absence of coming and going in terms of the responsive and transformative dharmakāya. The reason this explanation is used is that below, they are subsumed under the three bodies, and this belongs to the transformation body.
