18.60

疏「故下經云於一切義無所觀察」等者，二引當經，即〈出現品〉菩提相中。經云「佛子！如來成正覺時，於一切義無所觀察。」而言等者，等取餘經云「於法平等無有疑惑，無二無相、無行無止、無量無際，遠離二邊住於中道，出過一切文字言說。」釋曰：無所觀察，證大圓鏡無分別義。於法平等下，證平等性無分別義，餘義兼具。

Regarding the commentary's "Hence the sūtra below says, 'Regarding all meanings, having nothing observed'" and so on: this is the second, citing this very sūtra, namely in the characteristics of bodhi in the "Chapter on Manifestation." The sūtra says: "O sons of the Buddha! When the Tathāgata achieves correct awakening, he has nothing observed regarding any meaning." The phrase "and so on" includes other passages of the sūtra that say: "Being equanimous regarding phenomena without doubt, non-dual and formless, without action or cessation, immeasurable and boundless, far removed from the two extremes and abiding in the middle path, transcending all words and expressions."\nExegesis: "Having nothing observed" proves the non-conceptual meaning of the great mirror [cognition]. From "being equanimous regarding phenomena" onward proves the non-conceptual meaning of the equality nature [cognition]; the remaining meanings are also fully provided.
