18.69

疏「虛空可喻佛智」下，二法合。於中復二：先合遍入、後合隨入。今初。言「三世有處，佛智必在其中」者，佛智通達染淨無礙，一念普觀無量劫故，則知佛智無不遍知。如來定慧無邊際故，前觀無始、後無終故。言「佛智知處三世或無其體」者，謂真如、實際、涅槃、法性是佛智證，彼無三世故。

On the Commentary's "Empty space can be a simile for the Buddha's wisdom" and so forth: second, applying them to dharmas. In this there are also two parts: first, applying to omnipresent entrance; next, applying to adapted entrance. First, regarding the words "wherever the three times exist, the Buddha's wisdom is necessarily within it": because the Buddha's wisdom completely penetrates defilement and purity without obstruction, and in a single thought contemplates immeasurable kalpas everywhere, it is known that the Buddha's wisdom leaves nothing unknown everywhere, because the Tathāgata's concentration and wisdom have no boundary, contemplating without beginning before and without end after. Regarding the words "where the Buddha's wisdom knows, the three times may have no substantial essence": this refers to tathatā, bhūtakoṭi, nirvāṇa, and dharmatā being realized by the Buddha's wisdom, and in them there are no three times.
