19.2

疏「是知略以」下，第五結歎難思，可知。第六眾海雲集中，疏「一為影響為主伴故」者，此集意中十意，皆闇取下經。此初意引，即諸大菩薩及下證法如來皆互為主伴，若影之隨形、響之應聲故。

Regarding the commentary from "Thus we know that briefly taking" downward: the fifth part concludes with praise for their inconceivability, which can be understood. In the sixth section, "The Gathering of the Ocean-like Assembly in Cloud-like Multitudes," the commentary says: "First, to serve as shadow and echo, and to be masters and companions": these ten intentions among the reasons for assembling all silently draw upon the subsequent sūtra text. This first intention cited means that the great bodhisattvas and the Tathāgatas confirming the Dharma below all serve reciprocally as masters and companions, just as a shadow follows a form and an echo responds to a sound.
