22.25

疏「漸熟有情」者，即第三漸熟有情門也。《唯識》云「漸次成熟諸有情故。」《攝論》云「由施能攝受，由戒能不害，由忍雖遭苦能受，由勤助彼所作，由定心未定者令定，由慧已定者令得解脫。」

The commentary's "gradually maturing sentient beings" is the third approach, gradually maturing sentient beings. The Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi says: "Because they gradually mature sentient beings." The Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: "Through giving one can gather them in; through morality one avoids harming; through patience, though encountering suffering, one can endure it; through vigor one assists what they do; through meditation one brings those whose minds are not yet concentrated to concentration; through wisdom one brings those who are concentrated to attain liberation."
