23.8

疏「此與成實大同」者，《成實》云「乘如實道來成正覺，故曰如來。」乘如實道，即第一義。來成正覺，即正覺名來。以如實道亦通萬行，故言大同。

Regarding the Commentary's statement "this largely accords with the *Satyasiddhi*": the *Satyasiddhi* states, "Riding the path of true reality, he comes to achieve right awakening; hence he is called Tathāgata." Riding the path of true reality is the ultimate truth. Coming to achieve right awakening means that right awakening is called "coming." Because the path of true reality also applies broadly to the myriad practices, it is said to largely accord.
