24.2

疏「三各別」者，前之二釋，一則一一別對、二則互相總對；今不對前，則七八兩段義不相關，七約法開悟、八約身成益，身法不同故不相對。上言對前為三者，前二相由故名為對，今與前別亦是對前。

Regarding the commentary's phrase “three, each being distinct”: as for the previous two explanations, the first matched each individually, and the second matched them collectively with one another. Now, in not matching the preceding, the two sections—seven and eight—are not related in meaning: the seventh concerns awakening in terms of the Dharma, and the eighth concerns producing benefit in terms of the body. Since body and Dharma are not the same, they are not matched against each other. When it was stated above that they are three in relation to the preceding: the previous two depended on each other and were therefore called matching; now, being distinct from the preceding is also in relation to the preceding.
