24.48

疏「既以結通菩薩雲集，尤顯上歎是彼十方」者，謂若是勝音眷屬，何以歎後結云「如此四天下道場中，以佛神力，十方各有一億世界海微塵數諸菩薩等而來集會耶。」明知上是十方菩薩歎佛德耳。現相品竟。

Regarding the commentary's statement “Since it universally concludes with the clouds of bodhisattvas assembling, it shows all the more clearly that the praise above belongs to those from the ten directions”: That is, if they were the retinue of Jinadhvaja, why, after the praise, would it conclude: “In this bodhimaṇḍa of the four continents, through the Buddha's spiritual power, bodhisattvas numbering as many as the dust motes in a sea of a hundred million worlds from each of the ten directions came and assembled”? Thus we know clearly that the above was merely the bodhisattvas of the ten directions praising the Buddha's virtues. The Chapter on Manifesting Characteristics is concluded.
