Regarding the commentary's phrase "Presenting two chapters means the seed and the kṣetra," the commentary's text has three parts: first, a general explanation querying the names; second, from "Wishing to clarify worlds" onward, revealing both the names and characteristics; third, from "Yet regarding worlds" onward, answering objections to clear up difficulties. Within this there are two: first, clearing up the objection that worlds are boundless; and later, from "If so" onward, resolving the objection that the seed has no essence. From "Although relying on category" onward, it clears up [the objection]. Within this, first it gives the correct explanation, and second draws the conclusion. Now for the first: previously, in order to form the ocean, it took "category" and generally had no separate essence. Now it specially uses the metaphor of a beehive to make clear that it has an essence: the bees' cells are like kṣetras, and a single hive is like a seed; this shows that the fishes and dragons were only partial metaphors.
