27.11

疏「誤譯洛剎曩」者，洛剎曩，此云相也。惡剎攞，此云字也。聲勢相近，故使有誤。梵本是室利跊蹉洛剎曩，合云吉祥海雲相也。

Regarding the commentary's: “Mistakenly translating *lakṣaṇa*”: *lakṣaṇa*, here rendered as “mark” (*xiàng*). *Akṣara*, here rendered as “letter” (*zì*). The sounds and phonetics are close, which caused the error. The Sanskrit text is *śrīvatsa-lakṣaṇa*, which together should be called “mark of the auspicious ocean cloud” (*jixiang haiyun xiang*).
