28.22

疏「今初文有九句」下，疏文分二：先通釋九句、後別解頂問。前中一向序昔，於中有五：一正立脫忍。二「又以十信」下，出其所以。若不開十信，則不合問信。下有忍品，故知脫忍。三「故仁王」下引教證成。四「有義云」下，以理證成。五「由斯」下結成配屬，可知。

In the former, it consistently recounts former interpretations, within which there are five: 1. directly establishing liberation-kṣānti; 2. from "Furthermore, because of the ten faiths..." and below, presenting its reason: if the ten faiths are not opened, then it is inappropriate to ask about faith; since there is a Kṣānti Chapter below, one knows it is liberation-kṣānti; 3. from "Hence the *Benevolent Kings [Sūtra]*..." and below, citing scriptural authority to corroborate it; 4. from "One view says..." and below, corroborating it by reasoning; 5. from "Due to this..." and below, concluding the correspondence, which may be understood.
