疏「煩惱名諍」，即《俱舍論》云「煩惱名諍，觸動善品故。」今滅煩惱，故名無諍。
The Commentary says: "Affliction is called contention," which is what the Abhidharmakośa-śāstra states: "Affliction is called contention because it agitates wholesome qualities." Now, destroying afflictions is therefore named non-contention.
