30.14

疏「若作明行足釋」者，重釋明行二字，即十號之一。先引《瑜伽》，由有止觀，云禪慧德。彼後更有極善圓滿，以釋足義。約滿足義，無脚足義，故疏不引。

Regarding the Commentary's stating, "If interpreted as vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna (one endowed with knowledge and conduct)": this reinterprets the two characters "knowledge and conduct" (mingxing) as one of the ten titles [of a Buddha]. First, citing the Yogācārabhūmi, because of possessing calm abiding and insight, they are called the virtues of dhyāna and wisdom. Later in that text, there is also "extremely well perfected" to explain the meaning of "endowed/foot" (zu). Since this takes the sense of fulfillment and not the sense of feet, the Commentary does not cite it.
